At The Secret Garden, we are always encouraging our couples to have their wedding day, their way. And this could be no more true of any of our couples than Yolanda and Joshua.
Yolanda and Joshua chose to host a Halloween-themed wedding and got married on the 30th of October in The Secret Garden. Complete with top hat and pocket watch for the groom and a floor length grey ombre dress + jacket for the bride, Yolanda and Joshua chose to truly host their own wedding their own way.
They asked all their guests to dress up and participate in the spooky fun, which has led to some absolutely incredible wedding photos.
The day turned up wet and wild, which perfectly suited the theme. Gloomier days make for stunning photos across the garden as you have less challenges than harsh, bright lighting with your photography.
Yolanda and Joshua hosted their wedding ceremony in The Fountain Garden surrounded by their closest friends and family. They moved on to their reception on The House Lawn, fed by the talented crew at Red Belly Pizza who pulled their Pizza Truck into the front yard of the house and were able to serve guests easily from this location. Hosting both the ceremony and reception on-site gives an ease to the day, and guests were able to wander the garden, albiet with umbrellas, between the wedding ceremony and reception.
Yolanda, Joshua and their amazing photographer Daniel from PrecisePix truly took advantage of the many different rooms and backdrops that The Secret Garden has to offer.
Congratulations Yolanda and Joshua on your wedding, and thank you so much for choosing to hold it in The Secret Garden!
