Josh and Jodie’s wedding ceremony was an extraordinarily beautifully afternoon full of friends, family and love. Their ceremony was held in late November, the sun was shining and the perfume of 100 blooms in full flower wafted through The Rose Lawn at The Secret Garden.
Josh and Jodie first came to look at The Secret Garden because they wanted an outdoor wedding in a gorgeous garden. Ideally, they wanted a garden that was full of roses and with space for 110 guests and the ability to transport them into the garden. They were looking for a place that was unique, but elegant, surrounded by lush foliage and beautiful flowers.
The Secret Garden had everything that wanted for their wedding ceremony and so there was no hesitation at all in booking the venue.
The day dawned bright, without a cloud in the sky, and warmed up to a delightful 27 degrees.
With the arbour installed, our beautiful metal love chairs and table ready to use to sign paperwork, white confetti cones filled with petals and the groom waiting anxiously, all was ready for the bride to arrive.
Jodie arrived in style in a beautiful vintage Jaguar, which was able to pull up just outside The Rose Lawn.
What a way to make an entrance.
Jodie and her dad then walked down the wisteria-clad pergola into The Rose Lawn, with rose petals lining the aisle, to meet Josh in front of the beautiful arbour covered in garlands of foraged greenery, enchanting white peonies and roses at every turn.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapes on the Terrace and Cottage Lawn, whilst the bridal party and family went with the photographer to find spots on the property that captured the charm of the garden. These have created some wonderful and unique photos for Josh and Jodie’s wedding album.
Congratulations to Josh and Jodie on a truly spectacular wedding day, we wish you all the happiness in the world.
