Sara and Ben wanted a garden setting with a relaxed reception for their wedding day. They were quick to realise they needed help in organising such an event so employed Jess from Planned by Page to bring their dream day together.

Jess took what they had envisaged and brought together an amazing team of vendors who put together a stunning setup that was just perfect for the setting and the day.

It was a little wet underfoot with rain the previous three days, but the day was bright and sunny with a few clouds emerging as the ceremony began – making the light just right for capturing those perfect images. It was a cool day, only reaching a top of 14 degrees which is typical of a September day in the Southern Highlands. Guests dressed appropriately and with gas heaters on hand, no one was cold

Sara and Ben chose the new black arbour under which to get married and Annette, from Flowers by Annette, produced a beautiful central arrangement for the structure.

Sara looked stunning in her beautiful 3/4 sleeved dress and carried a stunning native bouquet, again done by Flowers by Annette.

They chose to do first look and wedding portraits before the ceremony so they could spend as much time as possible with family and friends in the celebration of their wedding day.

After a lovely ceremony conducted by Shoshanna from Curator of Love Stories, the guests were ushered to the stunning tipi set up to celebrate the occasion with drinks and grazing platters from Adore & Pour.

The day ran seamlessly thanks to Jess, with both the bride and groom and their guests enjoying a relaxed day.

To put on a wedding day of this caliber, with multiple vendors, is logistically challenging. This wedding has certainly highlighted the advantage of engaging a planner to take care of all the detail so you can not only enjoy your wedding day but be stress free leading up to the day.

As always, we wish Sara and Ben all the best with their future together.
