Having had to cancel their original wedding due to covid restrictions, Bec and Sean decided to go with a simpler event, with fewer people, for their new wedding date. They were looking for a setting that was hopefully Covid-proof and our Garden Party package seemed to tick all their boxes.

Whilst originally looking at an October 2021 wedding, they decided to push it out to January 2022 to alleviate any future issues around lockdowns and restrictions.
While getting to see the Garden was postponed several times due to lockdowns, Bec and Sean booked as soon as they saw The Secret Garden.

They envisaged a ceremony in the Rose Garden followed by a casual lunch with a grazing table and drinks under the arbour. With guests spilling out onto the lawns either side for the arbour in true Garden Party fashion.
Wet weather leading up to their wedding day was a little concerning, but we managed to get the grass mowed and the hedges trimmed in time for set up to occur on the Friday.

Because rain was predicted on the day, we put up our white gazebos so the caters could set up under them.

It rained in the early hours of the morning on their wedding day and there was only a slight sprinkle just before guests started to arrive so we supplied clear white umbrellas for everyone, but they were not needed as the rain ceased in time for the bride to arrive.

It continued to stay dry most of the afternoon with just a short sharp shower about 1 ½ hours into the celebration, then the clouds rolled away, and the sun came out.

Bec and Sean had lots of help from family to pull the day together.

With the grooms’ men and other family members helping with set up the day before, Sean’s mum arranging flowers on the day, the groom and his grooms’ men organising and putting out all the drinks and an aunt doing the wedding cake.

The grazing table was to die for with lots of gorgeous food presented beautifully by the guys at Highland Pearl Events.

Bec and Sean were able to spend plenty of time in the garden getting beautiful photos that we hope they will treasure for the rest of their lives.

We would like to wish Bec and Sean all the best for their future together and thank them for the privilege of sharing their day with them.
