Having “been together forever” and with two boys, Renee and Luke were wanting to have a small family wedding in a lovely garden setting before continuing celebrations elsewhere.
When they visited The Secret Garden, they fell in love with the Wedding Gazebo. Set against the ornamental lake, it frames a ceremony space beautifully and is the perfect setting in which to make a commitment to each other.
It was a stunning spring day, warm but not hot, and with clear skies. Guests were able to relax and catch up on the lawn area adjacent to the Wedding Gazebo, whilst waiting for the Bride to arrive.
Both the groom and the bride arrived in gorgeous vintage muscle cars that were much admired by those in attendance.
The bride wore a stunning, classic, off-the-shoulder long dress and flowing train that complimented the groom and their sons in their smart navy suits.
Renee, accompanied on either side by her two sons, walked down the curved Cherry Blossom Walk and onto the red carpet to emerge in front of her waiting fiancé and family.
The Wedding Gazebo was draped in simple chiffon and set off with our stunning red carpet entrance. The ceremony was conducted by Shannon Black in front of the gazebo itself and then the couple and their witnesses completed the necessary paperwork at our signing table and chairs inside the gazebo.
Once the paperwork was completed the couple spent just over an hour with their photographer in the garden taking gorgeous portraits. With the roses just starting to bloom and swaths of lavender around the lake, the photographer was able to capture some wonderful shots of the couple and their family. These will no doubt provide them with wonderful lasting memories of their special day.
After the ceremony, the couple was joined by family and friends at a local restaurant to continue the celebration to complete their wedding day.
We would love to wish Renee and Luke all the best for the rest of their lives together and thank you for trusting The Secret Garden to share your day with you.
