Emma and Will were looking for a garden in which they could have an afternoon wedding ceremony for about 100 guests. Their vision was a space to put up small Sperry tent so that they could have champagne and a grazing table to celebrate for a couple of hours immediately after vows were exchanged and before all traveling on to Emma’s parents hotel in Mittagong to carry on with the celebrations.
They chose to go with the Garden Party wedding package which gave them four hours for the ceremony and celebrations.
With the Sperry tent installed the family arrive the day before to drop off and place furniture to set the scene for a glorious Garden party wedding.
In keeping with the garden party theme Keren from Pineapple possies created five gorgeous free flowing vase arrangements set on plinths to give some structure to the ceremony space.
Seasonal local flowers were used and set in vases rather than floral foam to keep it as sustainable as possible.
Vases full of flowers lined the aisle giving the whole ceremony a very wildflower garden feel.
More vases of flowers were set up on tables around the garden and in the Sperry tent to carry the theme through to the afternoon refreshments.
Staff from the Highlands hotel came out and set up an amazing grazing table for guest to enjoy after the ceremony.
Chad and Nicky set up their systems to provide pre post ceremony entertainment.
The weather had been wet all week and the forecast was for rain on the day, so we set up our white pop-up gazebos to give the guests some cover in the case it rained. Fortunately, the clouds parted, and the sun was shining for the afternoon.
After the ceremony the newly weds and their guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon in the garden. Around 6 pm bused came and picked up everyone and conveyed them on to the Mittagong Hotel to continue the celebrations.
