Jacinda and Richard were determined to find a beautiful space where they could hold a casual, relaxed small wedding.
They were very happy with what they saw when they came to view the garden and chose the four hour garden party wedding package. Four hours gave them time for a ceremony, photos and plenty of time mingling and talking with guests.
Their vision for the day was a Garden Party with tables, stools and umbrellas on the lawn. With a grazing table and cocktails and other drinks all enjoyed in the sun with everyone relaxing and having a great day.
With the beautiful pick rose out on the rose lawn fence and stunning white iris out in the rose garden it made the perfect setting for a ceremony site.
We love it when our brides are confident enough to go with our offer of flowers from the garden. Jacinda’s favourite flowers are peonies, so they choose a date in mid spring to coincide with peony flowering season. A couple of days before the big day she came to the garden and chose some peonies for her and her bridesmaid to hold. A dark pink for the bride and a pale pink for the brides maid. They carried just a single flower each. Peonies are such stunning flowers that one flower was certainly all that was needed to make a statement.
Even though it was only a 45 min drive for guests to travel to the garden, the couple decided to hire a bus to transport most of their guests . This ensured everyone was here on time and it certainly meant the end time was set in stone as well.
After the ceremony Jacinda and Richard and their guests were treated to delicious food and drinks prepared by Tara from Sneaky Bevvies and everyone was able to wonder the garden and relax on furnitre provided by Kat from Game Street Event Hire.
Everyone enjoy a beautiful day celebrating the marriage of Jacinda and Richard.
