Jenny and Clay, having booked the Robertson Public House for their wedding reception, came to us looking for a space to hold the ceremony and have photos taken. Once they had see the garden they realised its potential and decided to organise games, a coffee cart, drinks and grazing table. This allowed their guests to enjoy some refreshment and enjoy themselves before heading off to the reception.
Marco from Piccolo Events was there early to set up his coffee cart and get his machine hot so he could provide refreshments for guests as they arrived and after the ceremony.
Jenny and Clay chose the Blue Spruce Lawn for their ceremony and the marquee lawn, with its ample space, for the after ceremony refreshments and games.
Local florist, Gail from Petals and Paddocks, installed six beautiful arrangements on rough sawn logs to frame the ceremony space. With a colour scheme of gray, white and blue she was able to make stunning arrangements using a base of blue gum which highlighted the white roses, snap dragons, lilies, lisianthus, chrysanthemums, fairy statice and baby’s breath. A touch of blue was added with delphiniums and hydrangeas.
The ceremony area was finished off with a lovely hessian asile and scattered rose petals.
Our vintage desk and chairs were paced in front of the blue spruce to allow their paperwork to be completed.
Kat from Game Street Event Hire provided games and tables. Simple grazing platters were put on the tables to allow guests to enjoy a bite to eat along with their drinks.
Alisha Perkins, from Let’s Say I Do, officiated on the day and made sure everything ran to schedule.
The couple and their guests spent a lovely three hours in the garden enjoying refreshments and games in the sunshine before heading off to the Robertson Public House to continue the celebrations.
We wish Jenny and Clay all the best for their future together.
