The Secret Garden staff had worked closely with Yvette in her role as wedding coordinator at The Robertson Public House, as many of our couples use the RPH for their receptions. So, we were super thrilled when she and Mark chose our garden in which to get married. After several visits and looking at photos from previous years they decided that the crab apple lawn was where they wished to hold their ceremony.

The area was at peak flowering with the crab apples in full bloom, an understory of flowering azaleas an absolute carpet of colour with the alpine phlox ground cover also in bloom.

Yvette and Mark came in and styled the space the morning of their wedding. They wanted all guests to be seated so brought in extra white chairs to accompany our 24.

Yvette added some beautiful touches with affirmation quotes running down the aisle, 2 barrels at the entrance for flowers, tossing petals and a small tribute to those who could not be with them on their day. At the entrance to the lawn area a lovely, printed sign welcomed everyone.

Being local and working in the industry Yvette brought together a wonderful team of vendors to bring the day to fruition.

Once vows were exchanged and photos captured the bride and groom and their guest continued on to Southern Highlands winery to continue with the celebrations.

As always, we wish Yvette and Mark all the best for their future together.
