Natalie and Mike had a bit of a hard time getting to their wedding celebrations. We first met Natalie and Mike when they came to see the garden during our Open Garden 2019. They were looking for a space to hold a casual engagement party for a few close friends and family before heading overseas.

Covid put their travel plans on hold, so they decided to get married instead. Covid lockdowns caused the postponement of both their first and second scheduled dates, so it was with great excitement and a lot of relief when they were finally able to celebrate their wedding on the 9th of October 2022.

It was just the most perfect micro wedding with only 30 guests and family and friends contributing to make the day so special for Nat and Mike.

They supplied their own drinks and had caterers do up beautiful, shared platters for their guests to enjoy.

A friend’s mother did the cake and Nat’s stepfather was the photographer for the day.

As far as weddings go it was a beautiful, relaxed day. Both the couple and their family and friends enjoyed it immensely and were thoroughly grateful that it finally happened.

The Day started overcast but the sun appeared by the time guests arrived and allowed the photographer to get those all-important photos of the couple and their family around the garden.
